BRIDGE TO BRIGHTER BELIEVES EVERY SINGLE CHILD MATTERS.

Transforming the lives of youth in and aging out of foster care.

WE ARE DEDICATED TO BUILDING BRIDGES FOR YOUTH AGING OUT OF FOSTER CARE.

As a young person ‘ages out’ of the foster care system, Bridge To Brighter is there to help them make a successful transition to adulthood by teaching life skills that create independence and self-sufficiency.

Please consider making a gift to sponsor a young person aging out of foster care.

Our Story

Kevin and Shelly Mehring founded Bridge to Brighter because they wanted to make a difference in the lives of youth in and aging out of foster care. They were intentional in starting in Milwaukee County where the need is greatest in the state of Wisconsin. The Mehring family loves the state of Wisconsin and has personal experiences in their own extended family with foster care. They dream of the day Bridge to Brighter is impacting the lives of youth statewide!

Empowering Youth and Creating Lasting Change

Bridge to Brighter wants every child impacted by foster care to reach their full potential. We strive to help youth become independent and self-sufficient.
